STRIVE – Finding Strength to Live Better: A transformative day of empowering families, building bridges, and embracing growth.

What better way to spend a Saturday in May than learning new skills, connecting with resources in the Treasure Valley, and indulging in sweet treats? On Saturday, May 20, our Family Strengthening Education Program held their first annual STRIVE event at the Riverside Hotel in Garden City, leaving participants inspired and empowered. This event was made possible by a grant through Hubble Homes.

The conference boasted an array of diverse workshops specifically designed to address everyday challenges that often lead to stress within families. From Insurance 101 to Finding the Help You Need, Credit Repair to Adult Play, participants had the opportunity to engage in workshops that provided fundamental life skills, equipping them with the confidence to navigate their daily lives.

Beyond the workshops, STRIVE created a platform for networking and resource-sharing. Vendors showcased valuable resources, encouraging connections and opening doors to new opportunities. The event fostered a strong sense of community, as participants gathered for a shared lunch, enjoying a magic show, exchanging ideas and experiences, and forging lasting connections.

Undoubtedly, one of the standout moments of STRIVE was the captivating keynote address delivered by Natalie Marti. Natalie shared her remarkable journey of hope, resilience, and personal growth, leaving everyone in awe. Her story served as a powerful reminder that in times of adversity, we can find the strength to persevere and strive for a brighter future.

As the day drew to a close, attendees were treated to an Ice Cream Social, allowing them to unwind, reflect on the day’s activities, and savor delicious treats. The event provided a holistic experience, empowering individuals to enhance their knowledge base, establish meaningful connections, and foster an environment of positivity within their families.
